About David Lane
I was born in a small town of in the heart of the finger lakes region. I'm not sure when I became interested in art. I started painting with water colors and Acrylics while I was in Canada for a while during the Vietnam war. I became serious about art a short while after my tour of duty in Vietnam. while I was getting a degree in Computer Science.
Today all of my art is done on a computer using various programs and techniques. My works tend to be eclectic , from straight unmodified photographs, to digitally painted 'mindscapes' . I like to have fun and experiment with different methods and tools. My goal is to evoke some response in the viewer, doesn't matter to me what the response is. The worst insult you can give me is to be indifferent to my work.
I have works in private collections throughout the world.
All of my works are copyrighted.
