About David Lane
All of my art is done on a computer using various programs and techniques. My works tend to be eclectic , from unmodified photographs, to digitally painted 'mindscapes' . I like to have fun and experiment with different methods and tools. My goal is to evoke some response in the viewer, doesn't matter to me what the response is. The worst insult you can give me is to be indifferent to my work. I have works in private collections throughout the world. All of my works are copyrighted.

Congrats on the sale of your beautiful work, David! I am not surprised at all, as this is just gorgeous! To finish your description... just for fun the perfect word might be PERIPHERAL COLOUR since you're referring to synaptic and neuronal and it really does look like nerves of colour to me - Beautifully done!
